Casting and forging in one place. CastForge is a young trade fair that took place for the third time from June 4 to 6, 2024. It brings together the primary forming process of casting with the reshaping process of forging in a unique way. This makes it a leading trade fair for designers, buyers and sellers of metal-based products that only takes place every two years.

Product complexity and the requirements put on cast and forged parts are increasing. CastForge brings supply and demand together in a single event and showcases the value chain from the unfinished cast part or forged part through machining to the final component. The third edition of this trade fair was a complete success. Two fully occupied exhibition halls and a high level of international participation testify to this. With 491 exhibiting companies and 4,286 trade visitors, the organizer Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH was able to record significant growth compared to CastForge 2022.

With its focus on trade visitors, CastForge offers a unique opportunity for networking, collaboration and knowledge sharing among industry professionals. That's why we at Visiometa were also present in both exhibition halls, visiting our customers at their stands and making new contacts.  As a special highlight, we took the opportunity to present our view of “Castings and simulation in the course of time” as part of the specialist presentations in conjunction with Project Engineering GmbH.
