The German Foundry Association BDG, the Austrian Foundry Institute ÖGI and the Foundry Association of Switzerland GVS organized and held a joint casting technology conference in Salzburg on 25 and 26 April 2024. For us at Visiometa, it is an honor to have been part of it.

For more than 600 participants, the "Große Gießereitechnische Tagung" in Salzburg was all about the future of production technology and the casting industry as a whole. Solutions for energy efficiency, environmental technology, digitalization and the recruitment of skilled workers were presented. Among other things, the industry discussed the transformation of energy requirements and the contribution of digitalization as well as securing industry expertise by promoting young talent.

Visiometa fits right in, which is why we were one of many exhibitors in front of the conference room. We are so well suited to the conference content because Visiometa is a fast and efficient tool for designers and process planners of casting products. In addition, our customers attest that the use of the software makes a major contribution to the growth and enhancement of their casting technology know-how. We will continue to develop our product in the context of this conference and thus make our contribution to ensuring that metal casting has a future in our German-speaking countries and worldwide.
